We anticipate the return of the dynamic, exciting, and young Czech quartet that is fast gaining global praise, the Bennewitz Quartet, on March 1st at 7:30 pm!
Despite being a relatively new ensemble, the quartet performs at major venues such as Wigmore Hall London, Musikverein Wien, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées Paris. They regularly perform at renowned festivals including the Salzburger Festspiele, Luzerne Festival, Rheingau Musik, Festival, Kammermusikfest Lockenhaus, and the Prague Spring Festival, and have won the Classic Prague Award for best chamber music performance of 2019.
Gramophone described their performance as “Downright wonderful with a perfect balance of warmth and clarity,” while Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote: “… the music was remarkable not just for its clarity of structure, but for the beautiful tonal palette and purity of intonation in its execution.”
